Kasargod: Western toilet commode, red stone found on railway track – Suspected terrorist act?

Kasargod, Aug 18: European closet (western commode) and red stones were kept on the railway track at a distance of 200 meters from Kalanadau railway tunnel on the afternoon of Thursday in order to derail the train. Police rushed to the spot.

Loco pilot of Intercity Express that runs from Mangaluru to Coimbatore saw the closet and red stone on the railway track at around 12 noon on Thursday and informed the matter to Kasargod railway station master. Station master immediately relayed the information to SP Dr Vaibhav Saxena.

Bekal DySP C K Sunil Kumar, Melparamba police inspector Uttamdas, SI Anup, RPF SI Binoy Kurian and railway police rushed to the spot and investigated.
