Mangaluru, Aug 18: "Soujanya Horata Samithi will hold a massive protest demanding justice to the gruesome rape and murder of Soujanya. Though the incident happened 11 years ago, the prosecution failed to provide justice to the victim," said social activist Prasanna Ravi.
Addressing media at press club here on Friday, August 13, she further said, “Though she was raped and murdered 11 years ago, our administration has failed to identify the culprits. Hence, the government should hold a judicial probe into this case.”
Soujanya Horata Samithi Mangaluru will hold a massive protest on August 20. There will be a padayatra at 3.30 pm from Kadri Manjunath Temple to Kadri open ground.
“Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi will address the gathering. Kusumavathi, mother of Soujanya will be present during the protest,” she said.
Vikyath Ullal, Shashikala Shetty, Sajan Shetty and others were present.
