Bantwal: Rally held urging to punish real accused of Sowjanya rape and murder case

Bantwal, Aug 19: Bantwal taluk Goudara Yane Okkaligara Sangha Yuva Ghataka and Mahila Sangha Swasahaya Sanghagala Okkoota held special prayers at Panchalingeshwara temple and protest rally urging for stringent punishment to the accused of rape and murder of Sowjanya at Dharmasthala.

The protest rally progressed from Vittal junction till the private bus stand.

A request was submitted by the protesters to the state chief minister and the governor through the deputy tahsildar at the village office after the protests.
