Kundapur, Aug 20: A crop protection initiative was conducted on Saturday within the paddy fields of Hadali. The program was organized collaboratively by the Kundanadu Farmer Produce Company, Amparu Agricultural Society, and the Rotary Club of Amparu.

In July, tilling was carried out on a total of 12 acres of previously barren paddy fields. The current focus of the efforts has been the removal of weeds from these fields.

Santhosh Kumar Shetty, the President of Kundanadu Farmers Produce Company, shared, "Our program has inspired numerous farmers to approach us for assistance in tilling their own barren paddy fields. This proactive step has the potential to contribute significantly to the augmentation of rice production."

In addition to Shetty, the event saw the participation of Mallika Shetty, Jyoti Shetty, Ashok, Ajit, Avinash, Chandrashekhar, Roshini, Yathish, Umesh, Ramesh, Dinesh, and several others committed to the cause of crop protection and enhancement.
