Udupi, Aug 21: The logo releasing ceremony of the third 'Kediyoor Asthapavitra Nagamandalotsava' was held on Monday, August 21.
Yashpal Suvarna, MLA Udupi released the logo of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Yashpal said, "I feel it as a blessing to be witnessing the third Asthapavitra Nagamandalotsava of Kediyoor Hotels Private Ltd. The year 2024, will be a holy one as we willl be having the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Puttige seer's paryaya and along with that the third Asthapavitra Nagamandalotsava also. Bhuvanendra Kediyoor has contributed very much to the society. I will be doing my service for this Nagamandalotsava and will extend all my support".
Kabiyadi Jayaram Acharya, astrologer Vidhwan inaugurated the formal function. Addressing the gathering, he said, "Bhuvanendra Kediyoor has shaped his life through the blessings of God and he is a self made man. It is very difficult to do three Asthapavithra Nagamandalotsava. With this service, he is thanking the Almighty for blessing him. In a true sense he is human. The Asthapavitra Nagamandalotsava will begin on January 28, 2024 and will end on January 31."
Dr Vijayendrea Rao, CMC member, Ramesh Kanchan, CMC member, Vijay Kodavoor, Yermal Shashidhar Shetty, Hariyappa Kotian, Purushotham Shetty of Ujwal Developers, S T Karkera and Yuvraj Pithrody were present on the dais.
Speaking about the programme, Bhuvanendra Kediyoor, managing director, Kediyoor Hotels Private Ltd said, "This Nagamandalotsava is not mine. It belongs to all of you. I have been believing in Lord Naga for a very long time. As much as we believe in Lord Naga, it protects us more".
Jithesh Kediyoor, director, Kediyoor Hotels Private Limited welcomed the gathering. Ramesh Kediyoor compered the programme. Directors Dr Bhavyashree Kediyoor and Dr Abhin Shriyan were also present on the occasion.
The third 'Kediyoor Asthapavitra Nagamandalotsava' will be held from January 28 to 31, 2024. Various religious rituals will be held during this time.
