Beltangady, Aug 22: A man, who was seriously injured in the accident that occurred on Resheme Road near Gerukatte in the taluk between a four-wheeler and a bike, succumbed to injuries.
The deceased is identified as Pramod Shetty (45), a resident of Panejalu.
On August 17 in the evening, a Bolero that was moving from Guruvayanakere to Uppinangady collided head on with a new bike not yet registered at Reshme Road. Bike rider Panejalu Shiva and pillion Pramod Shetty were seriously injured. Shiva recuperated in the hospital. However, Pramod succumbed to his injuries on August 19.
A case in this connection is registered at Beltangady traffic police station.
