Mangaluru: Slima Pinto receives PhD from VTU

Mangaluru, Aug 22: Slima Pinto, assistant professor, A J Institute of Management, Mangaluru has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, for her thesis titled ‘Entrepreneurial Orientation and Performance of Christian Entrepreneurs: A Study with reference to Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts, Karnataka State, India’.

Slima Pinto has been successfully guided by Dr Prakash Pinto, professor and dean, department of business administration, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangaluru.

Slima is the daughter of Linet Pinto, former teacher of Milagres English Primary School Mangaluru and the late Cyril Ivan Pinto of Milagres parish.
