Mumbai: Thonse Brahma Pancha Dhoomavati Garodi trust holds fifth annual meeting

Mumbai, Aug 22: Thonse Brahma Pancha Dhoomavati Garodi trust held their fifth annual meeting at Billavara Bhavana mini hall, Santacruz east on Sunday, August 20.

Seva trust president Nithyananda D Kotian presided over the meeting. Joint secretary Karunaker B Poojary red the report of previous annual meeting. Honorary chief treasurer Raviraj Kalianpur tabled previous year’s accounts.

Adi R Poojary and Krish Ameen, examination toppers were felicitated on behalf of the trust by vice president C K Poojary and D B Ameen presenting certificates and cash prize. Educational adoption of Pratheek Poojary was received. Scholarships were distributed to economically weaker Chaitra Poojary and Tanushree Poojary. Vishwanath Thonse gave details of examination toppers. Rithesh Poojary who won gold medal in the taluk level wrestling tournament was felicitated. Needamballi resident K Raghavendra Poojary was provided medical assistance.

Suresh Kotian and V C Poojary in the audience expressed their opinions and praised the service of the trust. Joint treasurer Vijay Sanil, executive committee members Ashok M Kotian, Suresh Anchan, Sadananda B Poojary, Udaya S Poojary, V C Soma Suvarna, Sachin S Poojary, Savita Kotian, Bharati Suvarna, Mradula Kotian and members offered prayers to Brahma Baidarkala and started the meeting.

Sanjiva Poojary Thonse welcomed. Prayers were offered and homage was paid to well wishers and donors of the trust who passed away last year. Vice president Vishwanath Thonse rendered a vote of thanks.
