Kundapur: Serial accident at Jansale – Auto-rickshaw driver succumbs after two days

Kundapur, Aug 24: Auto-rickshaw driver Geddodu Ashoka Kulala (38), who was seriously injured in the serial accident that occurred at Jansale on August 20, succumbed on August 22.

The accident occurred as a Bolero jeep that was moving to Jansale from Siddapur suddenly took a right turn in order to go to the workshop nearby and hit auto-rickshaw and a bike.

While auto-rickshaw driver Ashoka died at private hospital of Udupi, pillion on bike Sudhira Kulala’s condition is critical and is admitted to private hospital at Kundapur.

Ashoka is survived by wife and two daughters. He was living in rented house and was running an auto as well as a tourist vehicle. He was the pillar of his family.

Shankaranarayana police have registered a case.
