Beltangady: Cook goes missing, complaint filed

Beltangady, Aug 24: A cook has gone missing from Sharada Nagara of Mundaje village of the taluk.

Raghavendra Mehandale (32), is the person who is not to be seen since August 20.

Raghavendra used to work as cook in local functions, in addition to car washing. On August 20, Raghavendra told his wife that he has got a car to wash as well as some catering work and he will be late while coming home. This message was given to Sheela, wife of Raghavendra at around 12.30 pm on August 20. However, his mobile was switched off after this conversation.

Dharmasthala police are investigating based on the complaint filed by Raghavendra’s wife.
