INDIA bloc passes resolution to congratulate ISRO for Chandrayaan-3 success


Mumbai, Sep 1 (IANS): During the meeting of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc on Friday, the opposition parties passed a resolution congratulating Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the success of Chandrayaan-3 Mission, saying it has thrilled the world which is now looking forward to the launch of Aditya L1 Mission on Saturday.

In a tweet, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, "Resolution of INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) on ISRO’s successful Chandrayaan-3 mission has just been passed."

The INDIA bloc in its resoltuion said, "We, the INDIA parties congratulate the entireISROfamily - present and past - for its outstanding achievements which have made our country proud. It has taken six decades to build, expand and deepenISRO's capacities and capabilities."

"Chandrayaan-3 has thrilled the world, which is looking eagerly to the launch of Aditya-L1 tomorrow. We hope that the extraordinary accomplishments ofISROstrengthen the spirit of scientific temper in our society and give our youth the inspiration to excel in fields of scientific endeavour," it added.

The congratulatory message from INDIA bloc came in the third meeting of the alliance partners on Friday.

At least 63 leaders from 28 parties are participating in the INDIA meeting here to discuss the strategy to take on the ruling BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The second day of meeting of INDIA bloc began after the joint photo session earlier in the day.
