Beltangady: Traffic diversion announced due to Sowjanya protest meet

Beltangady, Sep 3: The NH 73's route has been altered due to a protest meet being held for the Sowjanya murder case, which is expected to draw a large crowd on Sunday, September 3.

All vehicles traveling on the Kadoor-Bantwal highway via Beltangady town will be redirected through Koyyuru Cross Road, Adruperal, Parappu, Gerukatte, en route to Mangaluru.

For vehicles heading from Mangaluru to Ujire, the diversion will be at Guruvanayakere via Uppinangady road, Parappu Cross, and Adruperal.

Small vehicles will take an alternate route through Church Cross, Kannaje, Padladi, and Laila.

These changes have been mandated by the DC and will be in effect from 9 am to 5 pm on September 3.
