Mangaluru, Sep 5: A 37-year-old man has been reported missing since September 2, and a formal missing person complaint has been filed at the Punjalkatte police station.
The missing individual has been identified as Anil Praveen Pereira, a 35-year-old resident of Beltangady, who worked as a regional coordinator at a training center.
On September 2, Anil informed his wife that he would be traveling to Bengaluru with five students to attend an exam. On September 3, he spoke with his wife over the phone, stating that he would be returning to Mangaluru shortly. However, on the early morning of September 4, when a person went to pick up the students from BC road, it was reported that Anil Praveen Pereira had left for Mangaluru after dropping off the students at BC road.
Worried about her husband's whereabouts, Anil's wife attempted to call his mobile phone, but it was switched off. Furthermore, Anil did not return home even after a day had passed. In her search for answers, she reached out to his friends and relatives, but there was no trace of Anil.
