Bengaluru, Aug 31: Filmmaker Roopa Rao, known for her distinctive storytelling in films such as Gantumoote and Kenda, is set to return to the director’s chair with a new Kannada film titled Bhayankara Preethi.

The title motion poster of the film has been unveiled, offering the first glimpse into what appears to be an unconventional love story. The title, which translates to ‘Terrifying Love’, hints at a romance that is expected to explore themes beyond conventional romantic narratives.

The film stars Teju Belawadi and Pranav Sridhar in the lead roles. The motion poster, designed by Roopa Rao, features the two actors while deliberately keeping details about the storyline under wraps.

Bhayankara Preethi is being produced under the Ameyukti Studios banner, with Sahadeva Kelavadi associated with the production.

The film also features a large ensemble cast, including Ashith, Ananya Mohan, Vinay Bharadwaj, Sheetal Rao, Sudha Prasad, Anagha, Chandrashekar, Prithvi Banavasi, Ram Manjonath, Vishal, Vaibhav Shetty, Chetan, Nithin and Gaganashree, among others.
