Kundapura, Sep 21: Well known Yakshagana artiste of Badaguthitta fame,
Ramachandra Naika Hemmanabailu passed away on Thursday, September 21 due to heart attack. He was 57 years old.

He had toured several places in the melas of Badaguthitta. He was in demand for the performances due to his good voice. He was also identified for writing the acts.

He had written and directed historical and fiction based plays. He had toured in Saligrama mela and had given amazing life to social plays. He had toured in Sigandooru mela recently.

He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
