Udupi, Sep 22: A case is filed in Kota police station alleging misuse of name and logo of National Human Rights Commission organization.
Acting on definite information from public and journalists, Kota police station officer Shambhulingaiah subjected Dinesh Ganiga (45) to interrogation and it has come to light that accused Ganiga was saying that he is the chief state secretary of National Human Rights Committee of India and also using the name and Logo of the organization.
According to instructions from Indian National Human Rights Commission any individual or organization that misuses its name or logo is punishable under law. So a case is registered against Dinesh Ganiga. Kota police have requested public to report any such misuse if they come across in their area.
