Bantwal: 44th Shobhayatre concludes after four days at Raktheshwari temple

Bantwal, Sep 22: The 44th public Shobhayatre, held for four days at the Raktheshwari temple in B C Road by the Hindu Dharmika Seva Samithi, concluded on Friday.

Following the Visarjana Pooje on Friday, a procession was taken from the festival venue to Talapady Ganapathi Katte and back along the same route.

The morning began with Ganahoma, followed by Mangalarati in the afternoon and Anna Santarpane.

The procession featured various attractions, including Keelukudure by Gombe Balaga, Yakshagana Gombe, doll dance, Saxophone band, Chende Vadana, Nasik Bank, tiger dance, still pictures, tableaus, and crackers. The unique dances performed by the children were particularly captivating.

Ganeshotsava Samithi president M Sathish Bhandary and office bearers Suresh Kumar Kaikamba, M Sathish Shetty Modankapu, Bhasker Tailor, B Mohan, Sridhar Shenoy, Pushparaj Shetty, Lokanath Shetty, Rajesh L Nayak, Devadas Shetty Bantwal, Pramod Kumar Ajjubettu, Gopal Suvarna, Charan Jumadigudde, Basti Sadashiva Shenoy, and others were in attendance.

Thousands of devotees participated in the event, and Bantwal town police provided security.
