Beltangady: Tree trimming incident leaves man dead

Beltangady, Sep 25: A man died as a tree that was being cut near his house fell on him at Nidle village on Saturday.

The deceased is identified as Ramanna Gowda (58), a local resident. He was walking by the road where the tree was being cut. It suddenly fell on him.

Though he was taken to hospital immediately, he succumbed to injuries.

Dharmastala police have registered a case.
