Kadaba, Sep 25: A man fell down from a running KSRTC bus and died near the post office of Kadaba town on Sunday evening.
The deceased is identified as Achutha Gowda (63), a resident of Kudkoli Kalara. He boarded the Kadaba-Mangaluru bus in order to go to his home. As the bus took a bend near the post office, Gowda fell down from the bus as he lost balance. Along with Gowda, one more person by the name Chandrashekhar also fell down from the vehicle. While Chandrashekhar escaped with minor injuries, Achutha was seriously injured and died on the way to hospital.
Gowda bought land at Kalara and was involved in agriculture. He is survived by wife, son and three daughters.
