Kundapur: Truck owners, drivers hold protest against new rules by district administration

Kundapur, Sep 26: Kota Truck drivers’ and owners’ association held a foot march from Kota High school Moorakai to Police station on Tuesday accusing the district administration of depriving them work due to the new rules that are introduced.

Speaking on the occasion, president Bhoja Poojary said, “Truck owners and drivers are facing inconvenience due to the new rules introduced by the district administration. District administration and police department have to verify these rules minutely and implement the earlier rules with regards to driving. Otherwise we will protest by parking our tippers and other vehicles by the side of the road.”


















Brahmavar CI Divakar received the appeal and promised to bring the issues to the notice of the district administration. Sudhir, Mahabala, Ganesh, Sandeep, Koyikooru, Vijay and others were present. Kota SI Sudha Prabhu was present.
