Canadian Canara Vision Charity Dinner & Dance: A Night of Unity and Philanthropy

By Nancy Mendes

Mississauga, Oct 5:  Canadian Canara Vision Inc. (CCVI) is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited Canadian Canara Vision Charity Dinner & Dance, set to take place at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at the Capitol Banquet Hall, Mississauga. This extraordinary event is open to all communities and is expected to draw over 400 guests for a night of celebration, compassion, and community spirit.

Established in 2015, Canadian Canara Vision Inc. is a non-profit organization with a remarkable history of service. Its primary mission has been to provide affordable burial grounds for community members, reserving five percent of the plots for those in need. Over the years, CCVI has fulfilled this noble mission by donating 6 reserved plots to families in the community.

CCVI’s commitment extends far beyond burial grounds. Their motto, “To make a difference in the lives of Canadian Catholics originating from the Indian sub-continent,” reflects their dedication to supporting community-based initiatives and addressing diverse community needs. This commitment is exemplified through educational seminars on topics such as tax, investment, and retirement planning, all designed to empower and uplift the community.

We are proud to introduce our esteemed Chairman, Mr. Nelson D’ Costa, a veteran with over 25 years of Canadian and international experience in the accounting field. Mr. Nelson D’ Costa is not only the Chief Financial Officer of a major importer and wholesaler of produce but also operates his own tax and accounting firm, Nelson D’ Costa Professional Corporation (NDCPC). His extensive credentials include memberships in renowned associations, both domestic and international, and a Masters in Financial Management MBA (NMIMS) from India.

The dedicated board of directors, including Arun Mendes, Albert Soosay, Boniface Viegas, Flavian Pinto, Martin Menezes, Maxim Mendes, Nelson D’Costa, Peter Lobo, and Ronald Rego, extends a warm invitation to the entire Canadian community, to join us for our Annual Charity Dinner & Dance, where we can collectively create a positive impact on our community.

This event promises an unforgettable evening of dining and dancing, all for a noble cause. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28th, 2023, and don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to be part of a night that combines fun and philanthropy.

Your presence at the Canadian Canara Vision Charity Dinner & Dance will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to support. Together, we can create a brighter and more promising future for our community.
