Bengaluru, Oct 29: The ruling Congress party has officially declared its candidates for various Bengaluru Graduates and Teachers Constituencies of the State Legislative Council.

An announcement was made by AICC general secretary and state party in-charge, K C Venugopal, from Delhi on Sunday.

The candidates are as follows:

Puttanna for the Bengaluru Teachers Constituency
D T Srinivas for the Bengaluru East Teachers Constituency
Ramoji Gowda for the Bengaluru Graduates Constituency
K K Manjunath for the South West Teachers Constituency
Dr Chandrashekara B Patil for the North East Graduates Constituency

Venugopal confirmed that these candidates had been approved by Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge.
