Bantwal, Oct 30: A contract carriage bus that was going to Uppinangady broke down on Panemangalore bridge as a result of which traffic was blocked for more than one and half hour.
The bus stalled right in the middle of the bridge causing obstruction for other vehicles to pass by.
Later, a crane was brought and the bus was lifted and kept by the side of the road.
Bantwal traffic police controlled the movement of vehicles till normalcy was restored.
