Mangaluru: Tempo carrying fruits overturns at Mittakodi

Mangaluru, Oct 30: A tempo overturned after its brakes failed in the morning on Monday at Mudipu Mittakodi.

The tempo was carrying fruits from Kallapu Global Market to Melkar. The driver lost control of the vehicle after the brakes failed on the bend near Mittakodi.

It fell into a five feet deep trench. The driver sustained minor injuries.

Fruits were strewn all over the road. Mangaluru south traffic police registered a case.
