Mangaluru, Nov 3: The grand opening of St Agnes Day Care Centre was held on November 2. The place was blessed by Fr Vincent Monteiro, the parish priest of St Sebastian Church, Bendoor.
Sr Maria Roopa, the superior, St Agnes Convent, Mangaluru inaugurated the new day care center by cutting the ribbon. It was the earnest desire for the sisters of St Agnes Convent to help working mothers to go to their job without any worry about their children which led to the foundation of the day care centre.
The day care centre runs on all working days from 8.30 am to 5 pm, specially to help the working mothers in the campus. Those mothers outside the campus are also welcome to admit their children for the day care centre. Children within the age of one to three years are taken care of in this centre.
