Kundapur: Legal awareness week highlights importance of collective responsibility against corruption

Kundapur, Nov 3: The roots of corruption have spread everywhere, and if everyone understands their responsibilities, it is possible to control corruption, said Kundapura Taluk Legal Services Authority and Advocates Association president Abdul Rahim Husain Sheikh.

He was speaking at the launch of the Legal Awareness Week 2023 conducted by the Kundapura Taluk Legal Services Authority, the Advocates Association (R) Kundapura, and the taluk administration in the premises of the Kundapur Taluk Panchayat Auditorium on Friday, November 3.

Kundapur assistant commissioner Rashmi S R presided over the programme. President of the Civil and JMFC Bar Association, Somnath Hegde, tahsildar Shobha Lakshmi, DYSP Belliyappa, assistant government prosecutor Uday Kumar B E, general secretary of the advocates' association, Shrinath Rao were present.
Vandse revenue officer Raghavendra welcomed the gathering, compered and conducted the programme.
