Bantwal, Nov 4: Two trucks broke down on national highway near Kalladka on Friday causing traffic jam for some time.

One truck stalled on the service road opposite fish market of Kalladka. Another truck also broke down near Narahari hill. Both the trucks were going to Bengaluru from Mangaluru carrying coke. It is said that the trucks were overloaded.

The drivers of other vehicles manoeuvred their vehicles in between the pillars of under construction flyover. This caused further chaos in traffic.

Bantwal traffic police personnel led by Suthesh got the trucks lifted by crane and allowed smooth movement of traffic.
