Salman Finally Off to USA for Treatment

Mumbai, Aug 30: Salman Khan has finally left for USA in order to treat his facial nerve problem, late on Monday August 29.

The actor has been suffering from a facial nerve problem medically referred to as Trigeminal Neuralgia. This condition often follows with intense pain in the face.

On social networking site Twitter, Salman said, "Challo see you guys. On my way to fix the short circuit in my nerve, take care and hope you like 'Bodyguard'."

Salman is not only likely to miss the release of 'Bodyguard' but also Eid celebrations with his family. The star has also not been able to attend promotional events.

Salman who is quite well known for his generous contributions during Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the city, will be dearly missed by his fans who thronged to his residence late on Monday before he left for the airport.

His trip was earlier delayed due to the impact of hurricane Irene.

    Here's wishing Salman a very speedy recovery and hope this problem disappears for ever. Looking forward to watching Bodyguard this Friday and I know it will be the biggest success of his film career to-date. Love always xoxoxo
