Udupi: Tourist throng Malpe beach on weekend

Udupi, Nov 27: Malpe beach was overcrowded on Sunday with tourists due to weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, tourist buses carrying school children were seen near the beach in large numbers. Students from various districts of the state had arrived to play in beach and sea walk.

Most of the tourists arrived from Mysuru and Bengaluru. On the afternoon of Sunday, locals also joined the tourists and the beach was overcrowded. All witnessed the beauty of sunset.

Many tourists also took part in water adventure sports and jolly ride on boats.
