Kasargod: Onam Celebrated at St Mary’s English Medium School and College

Kasargod, Sep 5: St Mary’s English Medium School and College, Panathur here celebrated the joy of Onam festival in their campus on Friday September 2.

Several Competitions were held for both school and college students in the morning hours. There was an inter-class Pookalam competition held for the students. Students also designed a number of flower carpets (Pookkalam) inside their classrooms.

Different competitions like Tugg-off war, spoon run, saree wear (for men), eating Banana were held as a part of the celebrations.

College manager Fr Francis, St Mary’s College principal Fr Shimit, St Mary’s school principal Fr P D, wished the students on the eve of Onam. Maveli and Vamanan’s part was the main attraction of this programme.
