Bantwal, Sep 6:
A man knifed his uncle at Adyanadka market in the limits of Kepu village near here on Monday September 5 night.

The deceased is fifty-year-old Kujumba, a native of Panjikallu near here.

The accused Gangadhar was arrested by the Vittal police.

Both Kujumba and Gangadhar had come to Adyanadka market on Monday evening. The two are said to have quarrelled over silly issues, though it is suspected that a family feud was the real reason for the flare-up. Gangadhar in a fit of anger stabbed Kujumba to death with a knife and fled, it is learnt.

Vittal police have registered a case in this regard and investigations are under way.
