Beltangady: SKDRDP Farming Equipment for Pragatibandu SHGs

Beltangady, Sep 8: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, chairman, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), sanctioned agricultural equipment worth Rs 30 lac to Pragatibandu self-help-groups comprising of small and tiny farmers in Tumkur district.
 
A total of 3,750 Pragatibandu self-help-groups under SKDRDP are functioning in 10 taluks across Tumkur district and are farming with the weekly exchange of labour.
 
SKDRDP has so far provided farming accessories worth Rs 1.76 crore to 24,168 Pragatibandu self-help-groups in various districts.
