It's never easy leaving Raha, says Alia Bhatt

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS): Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has opened up on the separation anxiety for her daughter Raha, and shared how it is never easy for her to leave her bundle of joy.

Alia and actor Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14, 2022 in a traditional Hindu ceremony at their residence in Mumbai. In November 2022, she gave birth to their daughter Raha.

On Sunday, the ‘Brahmastra’ actress, who enjoys a massive fanbase of 81.5 million followers on Instagram, hosted an “Ask Me Anything” session with her fans.

A user asked the ‘Gully Boy’ star: “Do you still feel separation anxiety for Raha?”

Alia replied to the fan, saying, “It's never easy leaving her. But I guess that'll take a while to change. Knowing she's with family even when I'm away makes me feel less guilty somehow.”

The 30-year-old actress also shared a few nicknames of her baby girl. “Rahu Rara Lollipop (to name a few),” replied Alia to a fan.

Further, a fan asked her: “How do you deal with anxiety?”

The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress said: “We all have certain things that might trigger our anxiety - for example I find myself getting very worked up with any sudden change or a situation I have no control over. But it took me a long while to understand that. So prior to any of these moments I just try and be aware of it and if it's too much I allow myself to check out and feel the way I feel.”

“Trying to control how you feel sometimes does more harm than good. Also speak to someone who you can trust! It helps,” she added.

Alia ended the ‘AMA’ session, saying, “Okay yoga time.. that was fun.. happy Sunday everyone.. bye bye See you soon.”

On the professional front, she was last seen as Keya in ‘Heart of Stone’. She next has ‘Jigra’ in the pipeline.
