Moodbidri: Fatal Fall from High Rise Building – One Dies, Two Injured

Moodbidri, Sep 10: After a plank that supported three labourers who were working in the fifth floor of a multi-storied under-construction building broke into two, all of them fell to the ground. One among them died in the accident, while two others were injured.

Harish (29), a mason by profession and native of Kantavara near here, lost his life. Chennappa Gowda (28), from Neerkere in Tenkamijar, and Nagaraj (35), a native of Puttige village, suffered serious injuries. They are being treated in a private hospital.

While Harish suffered severe head injuries, the other two suffered fractures in the accident. A report in this connection was filed at the local police station.
