Sandalwood Actor Becomes Real Life Hero...

Bangalore, Sep 30 (Daily Bhaskar): Reel-life comedian Jaggesh showed his serious side in real life by rescuing a girl from two chain-snatchers on Thursday.

Around 5.30 pm, the Sandalwood actor was driving to Renukamba Theatre in Malleswaram for the screening of his new film when he heard cries of help from 10th Cross, 11th Main. He was horrified to see a girl being dragged along by two teenagers on bike near Cluny School as she struggled to save her gold chain.

As soon as the boys saw him, they began to flee. But Jaggesh caught the duo red-handed.Shruthi, 17, a student of MES College Malleswaram and a resident of Laggere, suffered minor injuries as she tried to defend herself. She was on her way to attend a tuition class when the incident took place.

"I heard the girl crying for help. When I went there, I saw two boys dragging her along the road. I immediately caught them and alerted Malleswaram police," said Jaggesh.

Soon, a crowd gathered and they wanted to give the duo a thrashing.

"But I stopped them and told them the duo will be handed over to police, who will take care of the rest. The police came to spot in five minutes, so the boys were safe," said the actor.

"I feel it's my duty to help anyone in trouble. So I ran to help the girl," said JaggeshThe actor said cases of chain-snatching were on the rise in Malleswaram and the public should join hands with the police to catch such miscreants.

Jaggesh said that when he enquired the boys, he was surprised to find that they hailed from decent families.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the two boys had taken to crime at a young age to lead a lavish life, according to deputy commissioner of police (North) HS Revanna.

totally agree wid u Stan.... i have already put in a zillion requests to "BAN" Nagesh Nayak from commenting as he is building differences. instilling communal violance statements to motivate people politically is a crime under the IPC. Jaggesh has been a hero allthrough even before Nagesh Nayaks BJP came into power. if one were to ask Jaggesh, if he did it coz BJP high command told him to do so, or would he give credit to BJP for his Feat ..iam sure he would disagree wid NAGESH ...

nagesh should change his views , not politically, but towards getting politics in all matters. at the end of the day, we are humans and not BJP, Congress , JDs or XYZ .. finally we are recognized by our names and deeds rather than the political party.

"Jaggesh learnt all good practices to serve the society after joining BJP", but the question is, when will Shriman Na(gg)esh will learn this practice? Does he have any word that calls him "good" in his life, except criticizing pseudos, italian-led government etc. etc. By passing his nasty comments he proves where he hails from and makes himself cheap !

Mr. Nagesh Nayak according to you, JAGGESH is a hero because he is in BJP. Unfortunately you being a BJP “chela” only make yourself a zero in front of the readers, vomiting poison and writing nonsense and baseless comments. Please behave yourselves and be a gentleman first and you too will be a real hero and will be SHRIMAAN Nagesh Nayak!!!!

Mr Nagesh Nayak, dont relate everything to BJP. What Jaggesh has done is called 'SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY'. A common man like you and me would have rescued that girl if we were to see such incidents.

Come out of dreaming about BJP. We do not hate any political parties or politicians. We hate only corruption and corrupted politicians. Good/bad people are there in every political parties.

@alwyn: U are 100% right. Police and petty thieves are hand in glove and they loot the share. This is the ugly but true fact of a so called "Mockery of democracy" in our country.
@Nagesh: Do u mean to say even the Reddy brothers learnt how to do illegal mining after joining BJP?
I strongly condemn your brainless sarcastic comments mamu.

dear readers sorry to inform u that even my father was in the police dept now he is no more but according to me and most of the citizens they have lost hope of police , as now a days only about 5 percent of them r honest,if anyone snatches ur chain or purse and u hand them over to the police chances of getting the same are less as the thieves and police are hand in glove these days and the loot is shared between them sorry to say this but it is a fact
