Mangalore: Thieves Take Away Valuables from Rama Mandira, Carstreet

Mangalore, Oct 3: Thieves broke open the windowpanes of Rama Mandira at Carstreet here and took away valuables worth Rs 40,000.

The incident came to light on the early morning of Monday October 3. The gold valuables in the temple of around one and half sovereign were stolen by the robbers along with other things.

A case regarding the theft has been registered at Bunder police station.

    There is no religion. It is man made. Simple common sense is the key to Social Harmony. There is no god to protect any one. It is all up to us to be broad minded and help each other. Disasters and natural calamities can come and destroy/eliminate us. Where is god then?

    Oh bly me! every thing can be conveniently blamed on SRS, not that I am a fan of those morons but you can find equally high on spirits retarded youth near Milagres church at any time of the day and they are not necessarily engaging in 'social activities', bottom line is use your brain and get rid of the condescending and patronising attitude,

    Using the same logic that you used, can you please tell me where dear lord was when Churches were 'allegedly' attacked? Perhaps engaging in the same activity that Sri Ram was engaging in?

    This is reaction to Wolfgang of USA questioning how the god who cannot protect his valuables can protect his disciples. I am reminded of a case for insurance claim by the Church authorities. The church building for which insurance cover was taken, was damaged by lightning and damage was claimed. The insurance company rejected the claim on the grounds that it was caused by an act of God ! Such incidents are not unusual.
