Kasargod: Two Knocked Down by Train

Kasargod, Oct 5: In two separate incidents which occurred in the district on Tuesday October 4, two youth lost their lives.

On Tuesday morning, a person from Nileshwar, named M A Abdul Razack (22), son of Abdul Rahiman, was hit by a train at Talangere over bridge near here. Two mobile phones and a purse were found scattered at the spot. It is learnt that Razack, who was preparing to go abroad on employment, had married the girl he loved, this Sunday. He had returned to Kasargod after participating in the marriage that was solemnized at Chikmagalur.

In another case, Purushottam (32), son of Narayan, residing near Kasargod block office, died after being knocked down by a train at Adkattabail Harijal. He was a labourer.
