Jobs Demise a Great Loss: Ratan Tata


New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS): Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata Thursday mourned the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, calling it a "huge loss".

"His untimely death is a huge loss to us all. The world has lost a great business leader and a great visionary," Tata said.

According to Tata, Apple's products such as iPod, iPad and iPhone, developed under Jobs leadership, have revolutionised wireless communication and entertainment.

"Apple's products, under his leadership, have had a profound impact on mankind, unequalled by any other company in the information technology space."

"His creativity, innovativeness gave the world the early personal computer, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad which have perhaps brought about the greatest change in the way people wirelessly listen to music, view visual images, exchange data and communicate."
