Mangalore, Oct 14: Urging the release of PDP leader Abdul Nasir Madani, who is in Bangalore Central Jail currently as an under-trial prisoner since 14 months, the Karnataka Justice Forum (KJF) will hold a human rights conservation convention at Jamiyyatul Falah Community Hall, Kankanady, on Sunday October 16 at 2.30 pm.

Informing this during a press conference on Thursday October 13, S M Basheer Ahmed, co-ordinator, said that delay of justice to Madani is equivalent to violation of human rights. Ahmed alleged that Madani had been framed in the Bangalore blast. “The ‘Human Right Protection Conference’ for release of Madani will be held in Bangalore in the month of December,” added Ahmed.

The Mangalore conference will be inaugurated by V T Rajashekar, editor, ‘Dalith Voice’. Al-Hadi Syed Ibrahim Tanjal will preside.

KJF office-bearers Siddiq Abdul Khader, Ismath Fazeer, and Abdul Azeez Punacha were present at the press conference.
