'Jhak Mar Ke ' - No Objection from Censor Board!

Daijiworld Media Network

Mumbai, Oct 19: The Indian censor board members seem to be working according to their mood. That is what it has been accused of, by well-known director Shubh Mukherjee whose 'Shakal Pe Mat Ja' promo was rejected by the Censor board which will incur a huge loss for the director.

But it's a different story when it comes to a different movie - John Abraham's song 'Jhak Mar ke' from Desi Boyz movie passed the Censor hands without any objection.

When contacted, Shubh Mukherjee was critical about the Censor board, blaming censorship as matter of mood of its members, and that Censor is running like the mafia. But when a Censor board official was contacted, he said 'Shakal Pe Mat Ja' song has 'double meaning', so it could not be passed.

But John Abraham's 'Desi Boyz' song looks quite offensive, especially when the title itself is 'Jhak Mar ke'. Is this fair?
