Dubai, Nov 3: India's young spinner Vaishnavi Sharma has climbed 53 places to reach 94th position in the latest ICC Women's ODI bowling rankings following her impressive performance in the three-match series against Zimbabwe.
The 20-year-old emerged as the biggest gainer among Indian players after an outstanding showing in the series, particularly in the third and final ODI, where she registered her maiden five-wicket haul in the 50-over format.
After claiming four wickets in the second ODI, Vaishnavi continued her impressive run with figures of 5/39 in the series finale. The performance, achieved in only her third appearance in the format, earned her the Player of the Match award and helped India complete a 3-0 clean sweep.
