Udupi, Jun 11: “Take necessary precautionary measures to curb artificial flood in various gram panchayat under Udupi Vidhan Sabha constituency,” Yashpal Suvarna, MLA said in the meeting held on June 10.
Yashpal Suvarna, MLA, in the meeting with Pratheek Bayal, CEO zilla panchayat, on pre-monsoon preparation, held at zilla panchayat office, informed the officials that, every official must be prepared in advance for the management of calamities during the monsoon and be ready with measures to address the problems that can be faced.
In such cases, the officials must visit the place immediately and react accordingly, he said.
Yashpal Suvarna, on completing pending work, instructed the officials and said, “The files at the gram panchayath level that are left pending must be worked on priority basis.”
