Mumbai, Oct 29: Finally, actress Kareena Kapoor unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum in Blackpool on Thursday October 27.
The statue that took about four months to be created, costs 150,000 pounds.
Speaking about her statue, Kareena said, “The figure looks so life like. I had to do a double take when I saw myself – they have done such a good job at capturing my essence.”
The event got flagged off at a global exhibition, where in the statues will be taken around six major cities of the world to be exhibited and will be brought back to Blackpool in January 2012.
Also celebrities of Bollywood- Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai also have their wax statues at Madame Tussauds.
