As usual Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha put up their best show this time too. The discipline and dedicated efforts of the key organizers was palpable what with the perfect synchronization of all the events all through the proceedings.

A lot of behind the scenes efforts by all the key members has definitely been the reason for the great success esp of programs of such variety and gaiety.

The back screen showcasing ‘Abudhabi Kannada Sangha’ was eye-catching.

A very touching statement was made by Dr B.R Shetty that the right investment was one which correctly identifies and serves public interest. His announcement of interest to institute awards at UAE level for nurturing local talent showed his interest in developing art and culture & his enterprising nature.

All the members were at their best. Mr Sarvottam Shetty speaking in his inimitable style and diction regaled the public esp after the post lunch session. His dedication, direction and instilling discipline among the members was noticeable. He is a perfect sheath anchor of our Kannada Sangha. I also admire his eye for details esp picking up for honoring each and every one who is a contributor to the program.

Ananth provided the best compere as usual. However, his much researched efforts were lost in the din of our sahitya abhiruchiya kannadigas!

The pitch and quality of some speakers ranged from the mellifluous voice of ananth to unwanted ear thumping resonance during… (your guesses). May be it would be nice if you guys can pay attention to this and make it more pleasing to the ears.

KUDOS to the entire team for their best efforts.

    Siri Gannadam Gelge!!!

It was a great and sensational with day for all organizing committee members. All the programs had come very nicely through out the day. Folk dance competition was an added glare to the success. I have few non-Kanndiga friends who were watching the program right from the beginning, till the end, at the late evening. As far as folk dances concerned we could see verity of rich Kannada Janapada forms brought out with wonderful effort from participants. Thanks to all Sponsors and Participants of all cultural events.

Special thanks Media, in particular to Shodhan for covering the whole event splendidly.

Congratulations to Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha for presenting such a wonderful day-long program concluding with the stupendously successful Folk Dance Competition. That there is so much talent amidst is like saying the obvious. The efforts put in by each and every team and individual performers are indeed laudable.

The beautiful compering of the folk dance competition by the effervescent Shri Ananth quoting various artists of yore added that extra dimension to the day's proceedings. The Dances choreographed and beautifully presented by Dr. Vidya were a treat to the eyes...

All in all highly enjoyable programs with a little more organization and better management of wayward children (it was funny to see Sarvothamanna chastising some of the children with the mike still live in his hands) would have added to the oveall beauty and audience appreciation. Nevertheless, three cheers to the entire team of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha for putting in such fantastic efforts and bringing back memories of our 'Taaynaadu' to this hot desert lands... Best Regds,
