Bhatkal: Eid-ul-Adha Celebrated with Devotion, Joy

Bhatkal, Nov 8: Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid), which marks the values of self-denial and sacrifice, was celebrated by people here on Monday November 8.

The Eid rally started from Jamia Masjid at 7 am to Idgah ground where all people from the taluk gathered for Eid prayers.

Chief Quazi Khalifa Jamaath-ul-Muslimeen Maulana Khwaja Moinuddin Akrami led the prayer after which special sermons in both Arabic and Urdu were delivered at 7.45 am.

Maulana Akrami said that Islam is a complete religion, and narrated the story of Prophet Ibrahim and also explained the rules of the ritual of sacrificing.

Maulana Khajaw, Maulana Abdul Bari, khateeb of Jamia Masjid Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Rab, Maulana Abdul Azeem and others participated in the rally from Idgah to Jamia street.

Editor of Naqsh-e-nawaith Maulana Abdul Aleem Qasimi held a reception for maulana's and others at his house after the rally.
