Moodbidri, Nov 11: The cultural fest  ‘Alva’s Nudisiri’ has begun here on Friday November 11.

On Thursday November 10, final touches were being given to the national cultural extravaganza that has been organized by Alva’s Education Foundation for seven years at Vidhyagiri. 

The venue at Vidhyagiri has been illuminated and hundreds of dignitaries and representatives arrived on Thursday night.
 
Alva’s Education Foundation chairman Dr Mohan Alva, who was inspired by the All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan held here during 2003, embarked on organizing Nudisiri, as he believed it the duty of every Kannadiga to promote their mother tongue Kannada.
 
Alva’s Nudisiri chairman M M Kalaburgi who arrived at the venue on Thursday evening, in an interaction with media persons, expressed happiness over his selection.  He also said that he will speak about conflict and harmony on the occasion.
