Mangalore, Nov 11: Dr Satyendra Kumar Shet, department of electrical and electronics engineering, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor here has been awarded PhD by NITK, Suratkal on successfully defending his thesis titled 'Systems Design Approach of Digital Controller Application to Inherent Poor Dynamic Behaviour Three Phase Squirrel Cage Induction Motor'.

He was guided by Dr Udaykumar R Y, professor, department of electrical and electronics engineering, NITK, Suratkal.

Dr Satyendra Kumar Shet is presently serving as associate professor in the College.
 
 

Dr Sheryl Grace Colaco

Dr Sheryl Grace Colaco, department of electrical and electronics engineering, St Joseph Engineering College, has been awarded PhD by Manipal University on successfully defending her thesis titled 'Adaptive Predictive Lighting Controllers for Daylight-Artificial Light Integrated Schemes'.

She was guided by Dr V I George, professor and head, department of I&CE, MIT, Manipal.

Dr Sheryl Grace Colaco is presently serving as assistant professor in the College and has seven publications to her credit (five in international journals and two in international conferences).
