Karnataka SSLC Exams to Begin on April 2

Bangalore, Nov 12: Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has announced the time table for the SSLC examinations scheduled to be held during April 2012.

As per the time table, on the first day, April 2, examination in first language i.e., Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, English or Sanskrit, will be conducted between 10.30 am to 1.45 pm.

On April 3, Indian Economics, elements of engineering, elements of electronics engineering, or elements of computer science examination will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1. 45 pm. From 2.30 pm to 5.45 pm on the same day, engineering drawing examinations will be held. These subjects are applicable only to the candidates from junior technical schools.

On April 5, science, or Indian politics and civics examination will be held from 10.30 m to 1.45 pm. From 2.30 pm to 5.45 pm, examination in Carnatic music or Hindustani music will be held.

On April 9, mathes or social science examination will be held from 10.30 am to 1.45 pm.

On April 11, second language i.e., English or Kannada examination will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1.15 pm.

On April 13, examination in third language i.e., Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sanskrit or Konkani will be held from 10.30 am to 1.45 pm

On April 17, JTS practical and oral examination will be held at the respective centres.

The board has clarified that no examinations will be conducted on April 4 (Mahavir Jayanti), April 6 (Good Friday), April 7, 8, 10, 12, 14 (Ambedkar Jayanti) and April 15.
