Mangalore, Nov 12: A continuing nursing education programme on the topic ‘competency in care of bones’ was organized by the department of paediatrics and fourth year BSc Nursing of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing on at the AJIMS Auditorium, Kuntikana here, recently.
Ashitha P Shetty, director, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust presided over the function. Prof Fathima D'Silva, principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences was the chief guest for function and inaugurated the programme.
Dr Larissa Martha Sams, principal, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing addressed the gathering regarding certain aspects of burns.
Dr Dinesh Kadam, MCH, DIP.NB, Plastic Microvascular and Auesthetic Surgeon Dr Sanath Bhandary MS MCH. Plastic, Cosmetic and Microvasular Surgeon and Shanbavi, associate proffessor, department of medical surgical nursing, Laxmi memeorial College of nursing were the resource persons and enriched the knowledge regarding various aspects of burns.
The programme began with a prayer song by Pearl, Angelin and Jaison. Anjana welcomed the gathering. Anil unveiled the theme and Preetham delivered the vote of thanks. Kenneth compered the programme.
