It is a good news for me as my sister stays in Udupi and I can visit Udupi through direct train from Bangalore. But, I would be much obliged if this is made a daily train atleast in the next year's Railway Budget, besides extending Bangalore Shimoga Train upto Talaguppa.

When the train reaches Yeswanthapura in the night, the passengers will have a tough time. I do not understand when Yeswanthapura - Karwar journey takes 15 1/2 hrs, why Karwar - Yeswanthapura journey takes more time that is 17hrs? Please re-schedule the time so that the train will reach Yeswanthpur at 9pm

Kundapura: None of the politicians are interested here and even there is no social service organisation works on similar issues. According my knowledge few others in our district are:
    1. West Coast Rail Yatri Sangha
    2. Udupi Railway Yatri Sangha
Is anybody knows/have contacts of above organization? Any probability they help us for genuine reason?
    Regards,

Again Kundapura Railway Station is downgraded for No REASON !!
Bhatkal to Byndoor station is ~16 Km. After Byndoor it is directly to Udupi station, which is more than 70 KM of distance. Major number of population is situated surrounding Kundapura. Byndoor is remote north border place of Kundapura taluk, it is very much difficult to access majority of people of Kundapura. There is no need of halt there!! Surrounding people of Byndoor can use major station Bhatkal which is nearby.
There is desperate need to stoppage at Kundapura for every reason like :
    1. Geographically Kundapura station falls in center place.
    2. It’s a Taluk head quarter & comes under city jurisdiction.
    3. Highest number of population & households.
    4. Well connected roads and even useful for part of Shimoga & Chikamagalore district people.
I really don’t know why politicians not interested to work on? There is big conspiracy!!
Some times back our MP (current CM) visited the station and tried to do some media stunt but surprisingly not worked on this issue!! Please check below links:

Good news for the people of Karwar and Mangalore. Someone has just mentioned that when the train reaches Mangalore in the night, the vultures will be waiting to make more money on the passengers. It will be a good idea if the RTO comes up with a scheme to have a counter at the Railway Station where you pay for your trip to your final destination and obtain a receipt for the same. At the same time, all the vultures (Rikshaw driverss) have to stand with their Rikshaws in a queue to get passengers for them and thereby the night vultures will know that they cannot fleece/fool their passengers. Moreover, CCTV should be installed at the Railway Station so that it can record the happenings and at the same time they can hold it for a week and then destroy the same. Good Luck to all the people of Mangalore. Jai Hind.

When the train reaches Yeshwantpur in the night, the passengers will be welcomed by vultures outside the station. (Autorickshaw drivers) The passengers who arrive at Yeshwantpur will have a tough time. All the best. Take care

Why are important stations like Ankola, Honavar, Murudeshwar & Kundapur left out? Secondly, there's no much need to enter and take reverse from Kankanady (M'lore Junction). Instead, there can be stops around the City such as Surathkal, Thokur (future Airport Station)and Farangipete. This can save much time taken to enter and exit from Kankanady.

This is a biggest contribution from our nerveless politicians. Let us welcome it.

Stops at Kundapura/Murudeshwara should have been considered

Hope we will get a night train to Karwar in the next railway budget.
